German supermarket chain Edeka, in collaboration with comedian Friedrich Liechtenstein, has produced a musical add, that’s turned into a youtube hit. In Germany that is, so if you do not think it is funny, you’re obviously not German. I was born of German parents and totally get it. Who ever claimed Germans lack humour? This is hilarious, in a very German way. What the non-German should maybe know is, that 80%+ of all German TV-ads are totally boring 1960s-style, and obsessed with health, pharmaceuticals, prosthetics, health food, and related body hang-ups. No wonder they appreciate this outlier so much.

All I need is a translation but even without that it amused me!
